Why stainless steel?
Stainless steel is a premium product that contains a minimum of 10.5% chromium. This chromium reacts quickly with surrounding oxygen to form a thin oxide layer on the steel’s surface.
These corrosion resistant properties along with a quality prepared surface finish will insure whatever your product is will look and function for many years trouble free.
What is sheet metal fabrication?
Sheet metal fabrication is the process of manipulating and preparing raw materials such as stainless steel for a variety of purposes to meet our customers’ requirements. Whether our customers need pipe work, chocolate tanks, dough bins, frames, we are able to deliver solutions to suit their needs and requirements.
How do I keep stainless steel clean?
Firstly, we need to establish what type of finish the surface is, EG- is the surface shiny or dull, or does it have lines or a grain (Brush finish)
Once you have established this, each surface finish does require a different cleaning technique.
Restoring a polish finish can be done with following products used with a soft cloth, soapy water to remove dirt and grime, for deeper cleaning use jiff, or aotosol or any stainless-steel cleaning product.
To restore a brush finish we recommend following the same technique as above except rubbing with the line or grain of the stainless.
If this doesn’t bring back the lustre, then replace the rag with a piece of scotch bright and continue to rub the surface with the grain, Do Not rub against the grain or you will add scotches to the surface in different directions
Rinsing will help prevent staining and spotting due to soap residue. Towel-dry the metal to prevent water spots. Fingerprints are one of the biggest complaints about stainless steel.

Food grade stainless steel is a high quality steel that offers a high corrosion resistance and a sanitary finish. Fabrications should be free from lines, grooves and pits, will be easy to clean, and will be safe for the processing of all food products.
